Laser Therapy
- Created in Cosmetics
Laser therapy is a broad term which describes treatments which use a
single wavelength of light to target specific cells in the skin. The light
energy is converted to heat energy, resulting in damage to the targeted
cells and also triggering the skin’s repair mechanism, thereby stimulating
collagen production. There are numerous types and brands of laser devices
that provide a broad range of applications. Examples include: laser hair
removal, tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation, treatment for scars, treatment
for stretch marks, and removal of unwanted red or brown spots.
